In his dvd he's using those dw titanium pedas(drools) and has these huge fluffy looking felt round beaters. Does anybody know who makes them....?

it seems to be a vintage beater..in the jan issue of modern drummer in the prodcut review section at the end it shows how vater has recreated the vintage goat wool beaters...check it out

DW has regular felt beaters like the one he is using. Most likely one of their's.

The big fluffy beater was used when he was playing with the "historical band", and using the old drumkit, presumably to recreate the bass drum sound from that time. On his Sonor kit, he's using a normal felt beater.

Hi Guys,
Yes, Steve uses the regular DW felt beaters. They are actually pretty hard, enought to make serious dents in his head from what I saw at DRUMMER LIVE here in the UK.
His pedals are seriously fast...
